I Am Going to Learn How to Sew Buttons Today on My Friend’s Brother XL2600i Sewing Machine
Using my friend’s Brother XL2600i today, I am going to learn how to sew on buttons. My friend said this is a great thing to learn how to do when you are first learning how to sew. She wanted me to start with sewing on buttons because I don’t have to worry about cutting any fabric yet. She thought the fewer steps that are needed the better. I agree with her. I like the idea of keeping things very simple starting out. I also like the idea of being able to celebrate a success early on. If I can learn how to sew a button on then I will feel like I have accomplished something. I even brought over a few of my shirts that have some missing buttons on them. I thought they would be great for me to practice on and if I’m able to salvage them that I would feel really good about that.

The internet is always a good way to start your research. Search for Christmas Photo Cards images by other families and look for that bright and unique idea for your own. You can also flip through Christmas Photo cards sent over by other relatives and friends for something that they haven’t tried yet. However, be sure to analyse how far you can deviate from the usual. You do not want a Christmas Photo Card showing an image that you and your family are really not.
