This is the official launch of the new Partners in Policymaking California (PIPCA) website. We will be posting news and information important to Partners graduates, current Partners participants and anyone else interested in advocacy for persons with disabilities.

If you have ideas or recommendations for our website, be sure to contact Jim Lockwood, PIPCA Coordinator by email at jim(a)pipcalifornia.org.

If you live in Los Angeles County and want to participate in the 2009 class of Partners in Policymaking, you can fill out an online application at http://www.pipcalifornia.org/2009-application/. You can also download the application in Spanish as a Word document or as a PDF file. (DOC/PDF)

This is a GREAT web site, Jim. Congratulations on a wonderful first effort and I can’t wait to see how many applicants you get for the next class. The training is absolutely invaluable and has allowed me, just today, in fact, to testify at the emergency Senate Budget Hearing–3 times! It was amazing.
